There is no rhyme or reason. It just started today. The ripples run horizontal across the page...kind of like a washboard. What is causing this?

Nice to see 1st answerer knows their topic as the 2300W is a LASER not an inkjet it doesn't use ink.

2 things to check first : Is the paper in good condition first, before it was printed.
Try a bundle from a fresh packet, as paper absosbs moisture when out the packet and this can cause ripples in the paper when it passes throiugh the heated fuser unit

What weight is the paper ? I'd never put anything under 80gsm (don't know the USA equiv) through these and if I'm on 90 or above I set the driver to "thick stock" mode.

If these are OK, then it is likely the "fuser assembly" is beginning to fail. A fuser is easy to swap for an engineer (like me) but they are fiddly and I would not reccomend trying it yourself. I've gone in behind other GOOD engineers where a minor misalignment caused other problems. If this appears to be the case, then contact your local KM support desk for advise, but to be honest it's likely to be as cheap to replace it now.

You may need some new ink cartridges. That sometimes happens when you run low.
