do they make any rims fully out of chrome?
or is it allways aluminum with chrome coated.

Replace the timing belt.
They are notorious for breaking.
Then you have a realy expensive repair.

the chrome you see is just a cover plating on a steel wheel,and yes they still make a lot of chrome plated wheels,craiger still makes a nice set of them ,they were actually the first back in the old days to make them since then many companies have made them,and they still do to this day,the ones made now are no better than the ones we used to buy for 21,bucks a wheel,that's what they cost in the late 60,s and early 70,s.good luck ,hope this helps.

chrome is just a plating that they put on metal, there are no wheels made of all chrome, they are made of metal or aluminum.
