It's that announcer, Mike Breen, man is he corny, and has no personality. Give me Marv Albert any day, he knows how to call a game and keep it entertaining no matter who's playing.

numbers 4 and 9 have been the only ones that i did not comprehend - i think of for #9 it particularly is extra surprising that Shaq is 2nd extra advantageous than Magic being first in turnovers. i'm not shocked that even super element guards lead in turnovers, in view that they take care of the ball the main often. won't be able to kill the Rockets for #3 - that replaced into on the time Elliot replaced into having his kidney problems. And for #7, all 3 champs beat a much extra appropriate group interior the finals for the win. The Bullets have been plenty extra appropriate than the seventy 5 warriors - yet Barry went loopy interior the finals. in seventy seven, the Sixers had between the main suitable communities ever assembled - Dr. J, McGinnis, unfastened, a youthful Dawkins...that replaced into while bill Walton made his mark as a consultant. I continuously theory that the Sonics have been extra appropriate than Washington interior the previous due 70s (Jack Sikma in no way have been given his due, and Dennis Johnson replaced into already a extensive megastar), so a minimum of that have been given corrected in seventy 9 after the Bullets pulled the upset in seventy 8.

Probably the only difference would be the celebrities that just happen to show up at the games...
Instead of Eva Longoria showing up at the games, we'll have the stars of NBC's "Friday Night Lights", "Law and Order SVU" and "The Apprentice"... and Howie Mandel will be the halftime guest at every game.
All kidding aside, NBC did do a much better job on the finals than ABC ever has... ABC is way too Disney-like to be a serious sports network.

I think that part of the reasons the ratings are so low are the sound. To me, the anouncers just arnt what I want to hear. It seems as though college has much better anouncers with my two favorites Bill Raftery and Dick Vitale. The NBA anouncers just dont get it done for me. Also it seems that the crowd is not always into the games. I loved watching the Golden State games with the loud crowd. It was like watching a college game with how loud and crowd got and all the passion the players showed.

yes, i think the nba would sound better on nbc than abc, because the quality and ratings would be better. nbc got an awesome theme song for the nba, the nfl is decent, and the nhl is awful. abc has almost the same theme like espn. i think if nbc can't do nba, i think tnt is a better choice. tnt should do the finals, starting next year, i meant you got marv albert, who is one of my favorite commentator in sport, right now.

It all comes down to $$$ for a contract and since NBC has the Sunday Night NFL package, I wager they have zero interest in the NBA.
