you shouldn't have to do anything with your insurance and state as they go by serial numbers not car color, if the car is mechanically decent and you want to keep the car I would get it painted.

Only YOU can determine if it's worth having the repairs done and the paint changed. If you do decide to change the color, notify the insurance carrier and the State DMV as the registration and insurance coverage won't match the original as filed.

its not worth it......drive it until it breaks.......the car will not be worth anything more even if you dump a bunch of money into it.....a quality paint job is exspensive and if you get a cheap one you'll be disappointed when it fades and peels.......i would say just keep it running and when it doesn't anymore get something else.....changing the color is a bad idea also you have to disassemble the whole car to paint the jambs and interior areas unless you want a different color when you open the doors.

its a very good idea to hav those dings and scratches fixed.not only that keeping up the exterior of the car as well as under the hood and interior makes worth more if you ever decide to sell it.most people always look at the condition of the exterior before they look under the hood or inside.and besides,if thats your only means of transportation, you always wanna keep it looking and running good

Replace the timing belt.
They are notorious for breaking.
Then you have a realy expensive repair.
