I am using a new computer and every time that I want to open a new window it closes the previous one, I mean I can't have more that 1 window open at the time. I want to work with multiple windows at the time, like yahoo answer in one, yahoo games in another one and ebay in the third on so I can multitaks. Help please!

Its not a matter of memory or space in my task bar, my computer closes the previous window and replace it with the new one

I don't minimize the window, it is just replace by the new one. I have tried everything that people have suggested so far and nothing is working so far

If, that's a big if, you have enough memory to keep the three things you mention open simultaneously, open all three. There should be tabs for each on the taskbar.

Right-click on an empty space on the taskbar. Select 'Tile Windows Vertically."

All three will be open before you, each taking up 1/3 of the screen. To undo this display, right-click on an empty space on the taskbar and select 'undo tile.'

You have several options here,

(1) first you can open you Browser (IE or Firefox) and go to Yahoo Games, then go to the top of the screen and click "file" and then click "New Window". A new window will pop up. You can then go to Yahoo Answers in this window. You can repeat this process as many times as you want.

(2) You could also use tabbed browsing. Many browser support this now. IE 7 now has this support. Firefox is another browser that has this feature and is what I recommend.

Do you know what browser you are using? if you are using internet explorer 7 and have the Tabbed document browsing turned off, you should also turn off the setting to reuse ie window for opening new links. That simply replaces what you were using with the new thing and never lets you have more than one open... this setting is in the tools, internet options window on the general tab, under tabbed browsing.

Try making the windows smaller so they will not close. Do not minimize as that will put the window in the taskbar....or whatever it's called.....the bottom of the screen.

Right click on your taskbar below. Choose properties. Uncheck the property that says 'Group similar taskbar buttons'. Press OK.
