addin car performance?

I have 2000 Chrysler cirrus and looking to add more power to the car. I wan to know if it be worth it to had a super or turbo charger to the car and add a better air intake system?
and will effect my engine or gas use in any way?

More power = more gas required.

Replace the timing belt.
They are notorious for breaking.
Then you have a realy expensive repair.
