There are no bodies in the Monument Park inside Yankee Stadium. They're just placards and statues of past Yankee greats.
I haven't read anything in regards to the future of Monument Park, but I'm sure the Yankees and the City of New York will come up with something.
The current stadium is scheduled for demolition following the completion of new stadium. The site will be turned in various parking garages and open park space. But I would image somewhere in this open park space Monument Park would be resurrected.

Luckily, there are no graves there as no one is buried in Monument Park. Being that it is the signature thing fans go to see Yankee Stadium for, I am sure a place for it is being considered in the new stadium. The Yankees website- www.Yankees.com- has informaton on the new stadium.

There are no graves in Monument Park - those are memorial plaques, not tombstones. And yes, they will be moved to the new Yankee Stadium when it opens.

OK. I'm back. The plan is that Monument Park will be placed pretty much in the same spot in the new stadium.

They are not graves but plaques. I have hearrd they are turning the area into a little museum but am not 100% that is true. Hear say. They will do something with them as they are history!

I'm not 100% sure but I don't think the bodies are buried there.. I think it is just monumnets
