New Moon was last night, so you should see just after sunset a really narrow crescent Moon tonight and tomorrow night, with the Earthlit portion of the Moon quite clearly visible, especially in binoculars.

Its new moon, meaning that the moon is between the earth and the sun so we can't see it (we see the moon by reflected sunlight, and the sunlit side of the moon is facing away from us).
It happens every month.

New moon tomorrow. It's been rising just before sunrise.
