I can get a little OCD about reading and watching. I read online while I am listening to one or two TV's. On occasion will be listening to music online while this is all going on. Or I will be at the computer reading the paper on my lap, listening to the TV and music and playing cards online .. its like a whole bunch of mice running loose in my head!

Funnily enough I am a visual person, but I prefer reading to TV/movies. I prefer to make my own mind up about how people might look, interact, sound and even smell. By reading this gives me that opportunity without losing some of the authors vision as well. So I guess it is like a shared vision to me and something I would hope never to be without .

I usually read books on history, sociology, or statistics. When watching television, it is usually a news, history, or scientific program.
I have a voracious appetite for learning, and I learn both through reading and television.
Although I do both, I do have a slight preference towards reading.
