I have an LG9800 phone from Verizon. I bought it on ebay a few months ago and didn't think about needing the security code. Now the phone is locked and I can not use it. Verizon told me tuff!

for verizon, the code is usually the last 4 digits in your number, if that doesn't work (which it should) you have to take it to a store and they'll unlock it for you

Try using 0000,9999, 1234, etc. If you didnt get the manual with the default code, you can look it up online.
There are several free phones listed at this site if you buy minutes.
