i recently got my cell phone [cingular lg c1300i] a little wet, the buttons don't work at all, except for sometimes but only for about 20 seconds. if i change the battery pack will that help it? if so, where can i get a new one? if not i have to wait until october until my sisters plan goes up because my parents won't let me get a new plan altogether, and mine's up already.

Sometimes changing the battery helps, which you can do at a local Cingular store. In case you still have any warranty on it you may also talk the person at the store to exchage the phone but unlikely since you say your plan is up. In this case, you can get a lower end phone (which still has lots of features) with a new plan, or buy one (new or used) from the internet and just have the store program the number into it.

If you got insurance on your phone you can get it replaced,but might have a deductible.Take the battery pack out and leave the back off and let the phone dry out for a day or two and it might work.

Sorry insurance is needed to replace the phone on water damage
