We're not. Russia was offered to JOIN in the developement of the current missle sheild system. It is NOT to antagonize Russia, it is to protect the entire region from the middle-eastern nut-bags, who are VERGING on nuclear missle development. Putin is feeling belittled because HE didn't come up with the plan and funding 1st, so he's reacting like a spoiled child, instead of thanking us for offering to protect his sorry butt.

They aren't. Russia is slipping back into it's old cold war-era paranoia and tyranny. All the former SSR's that they previously held even before the Bolshevik Revolution should be glad they're not forced to take orders from Moscow anymore.
