About three years ago, there was an big ice storm.... No I wasnt delighted because I was cold...but I was lucky that it only stayed out for a few hours...some people didnt have electricity for days.

properly, i stay in an house complicated, thats on an exceedingly vast highway, theres a mall, procuring mall, movie theatre, police branch, eating places and then the line the capability went out for a mile or 2 out and all the line light fixtures have been out for the duration of rush hour and that i replaced into walking to paintings not humorous

I work at a vet clinic, and the electricity went out during surgery today. I was monitoring a patient, and the Doctor was doing eye surgery. It was kind of creepy, we couldn't see ANYTHING. Luckily we had a back up light, and it was only out for a few minutes anyways. Kind of weird...

It's been awhile but no I wasn't delighted cause it kept flickering off and on and I had to keep resetting the clocks.

No it was about midnight and all I could do was listen to the songs I have saved on my laptop. It was out for 4 hours so I really got sick of the same 4 songs over and over again.

No, I was aggravated. I had to stay up for 3 hours to reset my alarm clock when it came back on because I had to go to work in the morning and the phones were out too!

Not completely. I have candles and flashlights in the house for exactly that reason. The last time was during a severe thunderstorm, so my battery-powered radio came in handy as well. :)
