A guy by the name of Michael Jordon was considered to be pretty good similar to Bob Cousy was to the 1950s, what Oscar Robertson was to the 1960s, what Julius Erving was to the 1970s or Earvin Johnson in the 1980's who was even more than a revolutionary player who, at 6-9, was the tallest point guard in league history. They were team players special players.

Why are you doing this? His favorite admirer, Bruce B. will be giving a 5,000 word rebuttal any time now!

Kobe is so much better than everyone else right now, it's ridiculous! And you're right--every coach and player in the league pretty much thinks the same thing, whether they want to admit it or not. Anyone who knows ANYTHING about basketball thinks that too.

Greatest ever.........well, let's not do that yet...he still has a ways to go to be the best Laker ever. There's about five or six ahead of him on his own team! Jabbar, Magic, West, Baylor, Wilt, so don't get too carried away yet!

Uh...are ya shittin' me? Kobe Bryant is a selfish, self-centered, overrated ballhog. He doesn't even belong in the same category as MJ, Magic, Larry Bird, or even Tim Duncan. Take a look at the stats if you want...Duncan has a career average of 21.8 ppg, just a few behind Kobe's 24.6. Then again, there's this other thing called rebounded, in which Duncan kicks his ***, 11.9 to 5.2. Duncan has 4 rings to Kobe's 3. You do the math.

How do you figure? Wilt Chamberlain scored 100 points. Has Kobe done this? Nope. Michael Jordan averaged 30+ points per game for his career. Has Kobe done this? Nope, he is averaging 24 points per game for his career. Lebron James averaged 31.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 6.6 assists per game in the 2005-2006 season. Has Kobe matched these stats? Nope.

Kobe is not the greatest players in the NBA today let alone the greatest of all time.

Hell NO,

Kobe is a selfish, self-rightishes, self-promoting jackass. He is with out a dout one of the best playing right know, but is not the best ever. He has a way to go to catch the players that have left their mark in the NBA. Majic, Bird, MJ, Shaq, Wilt, Kareem, Oscar, and many many more.

ever heard of a guy named mj. you dont think michael could have scored 81 if he wanted to in todays standards with the fouls. yes kobe is a beter long range shooter and probably ballhander. but kobe has never taken over a playoff series by himself. he has always needed shaq. ya mj had scottie but remember when scottie got hurt during the season and playoffs? the year pippen was hurt mj stepped up and won 72 games. the playoffs? he downed utah with the classic score on the layup steal from malone and step back jumper IN THE FINALS ON THE ROAD. who else can even get close to him????

81 points show how selfish he is. Magic Johnson lining up triple doubles often and playing all five positions on the floor successfully makes him greater, and still Kareem would be the consider one of the greatest Lakers. Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player ever, without argument. They compare Kobe's stats to his. I wonder why?
