You are going to have snow just about anywhere in the state during the winter. Probably more than you want. I agree that Boulder is a great city. Beautiful scenery and great down town. Also... the university is there and their medical facilities are top notch. It is also close to many of the interesting mountain parks. you will love it.

I've lived in Boulder (4 years), San Francisco (17 years) , Los Angeles (11 years), and Boston (6 years). Boulder is the best. I miss it.
