Probably ten years ago. When I was 16, I would sneak out my window and sit on the roof to smoke. Ahhh, to be young again.

I was on the roof of my friend's apt. building in the East Village with the rest of her party and we were setting on fire these little plastic parachuting soldiers and tossing them overboard so they landed onto the construction field below in billowy haze of flames, all the while smoking weed and drinking champagne. It was a blast.
