Okay, number one, does anybody have any real reasons?? I wouldn't like to say I am pro-Bush these days, but it seems like everybody hates him because it is almost fashionable. Would you be able to run a country like this, just think about it?? There is much more than what you can see from the media. And besides, congress makes the true decisions, Bush is basically just a cop. But besides that, how would you want a president to run this country. If so many people are so anti-war (not saying I am pro-war) then what are your ideas on getting terrorists out of our country?? Just sit back and watch muslims bomb our cities and kill millions of people without fighting back? Okay, so Bush really hasn't done much, but what president since like Roosevelt did?! Plus, why was he voted back in? I mean, Americans can be so 2 faced. They will do some serious bush bashing and then what do you know, he is voted back in. What are your ideas? Any true reason why you hate him?

Actually most people don't really hate him. There are actual irrational hate-mongers who hate for no reason and we see them a lot since they are very loud. Then there are those who believe the biased media which blames him for every problem on earth, even hurricanes.

Realistically he's done his best to make us safer and more prosperous. In those two areas he's succeeded, since we haven't had any attacks and they've stopped thousands of attempts. Also our economy is the best it's ever been in our history. Even "poor" people have 3 TV's and at least 2 cars. Oddly, the "poor" of today are richer and more prosperous than the middle class were in our grandparents day.

Things I don't like about him are when he moves over to the left side and tries to please the liberals. Like this immigration bill that the Democrats created. He's completely behind it even thought more than 80% of the people don't like it.

He doesn't seem to learn that the left never give an inch. Bipartisan to them means doing what they want. They never compromise and never move to the right even an inch.

So these are reasons to dislike or even be irritated by Bush, but not to hate the man. How can you hate someone you don't even know ? Those who hate him are very few and either completely uninformed or just so full of hate that they have to find someone to blame for any imaginary problem they can find.

They are truly sad pathetic people. Let's just hope they can get the help they need in time. %)

Check out Bill Maher. He is actually a Libertarian, so you being a Republican you would probably understand a lot of what he has to say. He is against Bush for many reason, but you should read or listen to what he has to say because he has many very well thought out reasons why. He is also very articulate and educated.

He only got voted in by a 3% lead, so 1/2 the country still disapproved of him.

Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11, so that is why people are against the war. Instead of going after Terrorists, he is fighting this war in Iraq and actually not doing the job he is supposed to be doing. And wasting your tax dollars to do it.

Actually, the congress was Republican for the 6 years he was in office, so they are on the same team. He also has used his executive power far more then he should have- so it's not all the congresses fault, it actually has been some of Bush's fault.

There is more, but I don't have time....but listen to Bill. He has a free podcast and website to learn more. Billmaher.com

This feels like a kind of "questions" in which you're watching for men and women that believe you, now not searching for know-how. What I have in opposition to Bush is that EVERY SINGLE THING IN THIS COUNTRY is worse than the best way Clinton left it. It won't were a nasty thought in any respect to support the Iraqis. Is that why we went? Is that why Bush stated we went? Why now not support the men and women in North Korea? Cuba? China? one hundred different international locations in which they've ZERO human rights? Is it a three letter phrase commencing with O by way of any danger? Billions of greenbacks, sure that is BILLIONS with a 'B' intended for Iraq's reconstruction have conveniently disappeared. I realize, Bush simply does not stay on those matters. "Fools who did not realize to stick out of a battlezone"....How deep of you. But then you were not in Iraq consuming at a cafe in which we proposal Hussain simply "would" be, so we Bombed it. Indeed, History could have the final phrase. But simply considering that EVERYONE is criticized doesn't suggest that feedback is continually unjustified........

Is there just one reason? I don't think so. Baby Bush has succeeded in making the American people hate him when he has failed at most everything else.
Baby Bush is supposed to represent the American people yet he does what he wishes. An example is the war & the American people's desire to get the heck out. Finish it quickly or get off the pot. Bush doesn't care what the public wishes. He does not understand compromise. He does not want a defeat on his watch but we cannot truly win anyway. Never could. The turmoil in the middle east has been ongoing for thousands of years & to think we can go in & settle it is a ridiculous idea. Remember "Mission Accomplished?" Did he actually think it was over & it could be so easy?
Plus, America cannot forgive him for lying to get into war. Even Bush has given differing reasons. He can't get his story straight.
Baby Bush continues to go full throttle because of money. (one reason) The American economy is being kept afloat by the military spending. Think back - the economy was crappy before war. It still is except for $$$ exchanged because of the war effort. Many businesses are making a living off the war. Not just traditional military suppliers either. The $$$ the government spends on supplies gets spent again & again. But if you are not in a business in the "supply chain" your business is hurting.
Let's not forget Bush's disregard for citizen's rights. Just now the Supreme Court is starting to take the government to task for violations. Baby Bush feels he has carte blanc to do as he wishes in the name of protecting America from terrorists. Yet, his actions have created more terrorists than before 9/11. Violate a people's rights & you create terrorists.
Now consider the environment. During the Bush years the environment has been attacked over & over. Baby Bush chooses to disregard any science that does not agree with his own ideas. Yet, he was barely a C student. One wonders if he would have passed at all if not for his family connections. And again, $$$ is the root to most of his environmental decisions. Look how often he throws out science when it just may cost $$$ or it may keep business from making more $$$.
I don't believe we can give just a single reason for America's dislike for Baby Bush. It has gotten to where even the Republicans don't like him. Now THAT takes some doing to have Repubs dislike their own sitting president!
A better question maybe - Why do you hate Bush?

Because he is a terrible President, lied the Coutry in a war, bungled the war, appointed incompetents and cronies, undermined the constitution, broke the law, destroyed the countries reputation and violated the priciples that made the USa an admired nation etc.

Whether or not I or anyone else could run the country is irrelevant, he ran and "won" the position and has to be held accoutable for his actions.

I don't hate the guy -- I have looked at what he has done and find him to be a terrible president and probably a sociopath. What's fasionable has nothing to do with it.

70% disapproval means it's a lot more than just liberal democrats who think he's doing a lousy job.

Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but I've been against him all along. I voted against his father, twice. Bush the Elder was disinterested in domestic politics, and he let the economy decline while he waged "Desert Storm." He lost his bid for re-election on the theme of "It's the economy, stupid." I was adversely affected by his policies, and I assumed his son, Bush 43, would give us more of the same. We should have been so lucky! Junior's economic program has been to spend, spend, spend, but none of the spending has improved our nation: our infrastructure has decayed, jobs aren't keeping up with the growth in population, and we're deep in debt. You sound as though you don't care, as long as we win the war on terrorism. Eh? Well, we're not winning, and since Iraq isn't (or wasn't) even involved in terrorism, Bush's mistake began when he demanded the war. Very few people think that it's going well over there, and pardon me, but he's the Commander-in-Chief, as everyone reminds me, and he hasn't gotten it done, even with the world's best military at his disposal. He is a poor general! But most of all, he talks the talk, swaggering every step like he's cool or something, but he hasn't walked the walk. He's a failure on every scorecard.

Everyone forgets that immediately after 9/11, Bush had an approval rating of nearly 95%. He did go after the terrorists, he did lower taxes, he did give the military a decent raise, he has kept his promise to fight terrorism. The people who are against Bush are the liberal democrats, and they are too cowardly to actually do what Bush has done. He's not perfect, and I'm not happy with everything he's done, but he sure was a better president against terrorism than Gore would have been

obviously, you do not realize what is really going on.bush has committed several felonies while in office, and has written several executive orders that violate the constitution.
i could list hundreds of illegal and immoral things he and his administration have done.but instead i will leave two links for you to ponder.one is about his crimes-as determined by a federal court. the other is a graph by reuters showing who really racked up the debt.
also, look into 911 more closely so you will know better than to be so scared of muslims.many of the hijackers were found to be alive living all over the world.then there's that pesky thing called the laws of physics...not enough space here, but please do some research.(for 911-start with the third link below)

Bush is a poor leader and an idiot. THAT is my personal opinion.

Why do I feel that way? Well, for starters, when you use the deaths of over 3,000 of your fellow citizens to further your own agenda and be able to invade Iraq (I am talking 9/11 here) based on nothing but lies and "poor intelligence", then one isn't at the top of my list for great leaders. He has trashed the US reputation within the world, he has basically started a war that he doesn't know how to end, so he is leaving it for the next "guy".

Congress did have a hand in what Bush did, but Bush is still the leader. He took the stuff to Congress to vote on, so if he presented it, he wanted it. And with a Republican Congress, he got it. You can't take the heat off of Bush - he is still in the thick of it.

Proof he hates the poor? Well, let's start with the FEMA response to Hurricane Katrina for starters. EVERYONE knew it was coming, and everyone knew it was going to hit New Orleans, and everyone knew there were people that were too poor to get out. And how many days passed before they got water in there to drink? A good leader would have had everything needed on stand-by, and as soon as the storm passed, would have had people in there assisting people. The trailers would not have taken months to get there, only to not be used because by the time they got there, most people had either relocated to another city or had other arrangements made. The hurricane itself wasn't Bush's fault, but the response was his fault. He appointed Michael Brown (who was majorly underqualified for the position), so he takes the blame for all he did and all he screwed up on. And since the majority of the victims of Katrina were poor black citizens of New Orleans, I don't think it is a stretch. If most of the citizens would have been rich white people, FEMA would have been there putting themselves between the hurricane and the homes! It sickens me to see that sort of blatent racism and elitist attitude still alive and well within our government.

Bush lied over and over again to the American people about Iraq, and did nothing when he should have. I still believe he did nothing so he could go in and start a war.

He got re-elected because of his stupid "war". At the beginning, he used the rage and fear of the people in this country to go to war with Iraq. In doing so, he got to feel the surge of the approval rating - conveniently right around election time. And it wasn't until the Democrats got into the majority of congress did it really come to light how much the administration had run amuck. Bush and company were in there doing whatever they had wanted, and the Republican Congress was letting them do so.

Getting terrorists out of our country isn't going to happen by sending our troops to another land to fight and die. It lies in STRENGTHENING OUR NATION'S BORDERS, thus making it harder to get into this country illegally. You know how many added border patrol agents one could hire with all of the money that is being pissed away on this stupid war? Enough to ad a lot of security and keep a lot of terrorists out of this land!

You are right - some don't like Bush because it is trendy. But I never liked him. I never voted for him. I thought he was bad news from the start, and cringed when it was announced he was our president (twice). So my distain for the leader goes back to before he was elected. So, I guess you could say I was ahead of the trend on this one. . .

He is a poor leader. He has never proven himself a good leader, and if he really had the best interests of the American people at heart, he would have listened to them many times. And now he wants to reward the millions of criminals in this country illegally with this stupid bill. Basically, he is saying that he will strengthen our borders and enforce the laws IF amnesty is rewarded to the 12 + million illegal immigrants in this country already. Amnesty didn't work for us 20 years ago when Reagan did it - what makes him think it will now? IT WON'T WORK!

Out with Bush! He is an idiot!

I am no American and I do think the Americans are warm people. But because of Bush, the US is no longer the strongest in the world. It's not welcomed or liked by most nations on earth.Bush is arrogant,self-centered,insensitive and always tries to change ,or force other nations to change their laws to suit his needs. The Americans need a kinder, friendlier and more likable leader to get them back where they were before.
