Was September 11 orchestrated and carried out by the U.S. Government to justify the war in Iraq? How much money have they made so far from seizing oil etc?

The U.S. hasn't made ANY money from this insane 'war'. But government contractors have made BILLIONS in profits, all paid for by the gullible U.S. taxpayers.
Yes, I believe 9-11 was orchestrated by our government just to justify going to war with a sovereign nation that in no way threatened, provoked or attacked the U.S.A.
As of last September, "American Prospect" magazine calculated that this insipid 'war' has cost American taxpayers $1.27 TRILLION (that's one million dollars a day for 3,487 years!!!). By now, Americans are probably faced with a $3TRILLION DOLLAR DEBT all because George W. Bush wanted to 'get even' with Hussein for humiliating his daddy during Desert Storm, and because Dick Cheney wants all that OIL swimming underneath Iraq's sands.
From DAY ONE, this insane war has been about nothing more than OIL and WAR PROFITEERING. Period. -RKO- 06/15/07

I'm not so sure about the amount of money the Government has made on the war but there are companies, corporation's, and individual's who have made fortune's and still are. That $2 billion dollar's a week that the war is costing the US taxpayer's is going somewhere and the profit margin is probably pretty high. As much as I don't put anything past our politician's and government and all the behind the scene's dirty business that goes on I don't believe they were involved in 911. Considering the way they so easily commit other people's lives for bull$#@% and don't hesitate to bleed the people for money I hope I'm right in believing their innocents.

The US would not need the attacks of September 11 to justify going to war in Iraq. The US went there because of WMD's it thought Saddam had, it had nothing to do with 9/11.

As for how much money the US government has made on the Iraq war, I would say it is currently in the negative amount. And going even lower, with no end in sight.

The U.S. govt. has lost our behinds in Iraq. We'll make nothing but a trillion dollar deficit. On the other hand, those politicians and friends with huge investments in big oil, Halliburton, military weapons manufacturers, etc. are getting rich from raiding the Treasury. It's the greatest Welfare giveaway in world history, and it's going to a few dozen corps. and their shareholders. Those elected officials who've supported the Arab slaughter with no vested interest will be paid their bribes after they leave office. Perfectly legal.

We have not, repeat, have not seized a single drop of oil from Iraq. Or anywhere else for that matter.

Of all the inaccurate things uttered in this country, "war for oil" tops the list.

Also, how do people who hate Bush reconcile the fact that they call him the stupidest man ever, but also believe he's the mastermind of the greatest conspiracy ever?

If the US was making money in Iraq, the US treasury won't be running a deficit. Bush would be wildly advertising the wealth he is creating by being at war in Iraq. Your hole argument is one massive flaw.

So far US money made is definitely negative - it by far costs us more to be there than we get out of it. Even the loony libs know this.
