I am about to go on a guitar equipment shopping spree. I have pretty much figured out my entire setup, but with the nearly limitless options on distortion, that one has stumped me. I need a good pedal that will not break me. I am looking for one that is ideal to do leads that works well along with a delay pedal, but is also hot enough to tap and do pinch harmonics fairly easy. Any ideas?

Oh yeah, and if you have any suggestions for your ideal setup, be free to enlighten me!

Thanks folks.

Rock on!!

Boss DS-1 Distortion will give you that kind of flexibility.

My setup was Boss compressor into Ibanez TS-9 Tube Screamer into an Ibanez 7 band EQ. Flexible rig.

the least expensive I've come across are the ones on Musician's Friend website. I forget who makes it, but they cost less than $30. Also Danelectro came out with mini pedals years ago for less than $30.
