the most pointless debate in the United States today is without a doubt the one most people assume is over but it has never been announced . . . . . . . . . Is Dubya a complete idiot? We know he's an idiot, we're just not sure if he's a complete one. There are times I think he's a few brick short of a load and the rest of the time I'm sure of it.

Well lets see there are so many to choose from. 1. The immigration bill, we all know that it does not matter if it passes or fails, they are still going to come over here for a better life. 2. The war in Iraq, this is going to be a modern day version of the Vietnam War, we go in and it takes forever to get out. God bless the troops. 3. Global warming, some scientists say that the polar ice caps are melting and we are going to die (the sky is falling) but some say that the Earth goes through warming and cooling phases, I don't know who to believe. No one on the Hill knows what to do(other than grandstanding). They just get up there and yell about what their parties & or money givers want them to yell about. They are only pashoinate about getting re-elected.

Immigration reform. We are making the Latinos feel like we hate them, when we really just want them to go home, so the Americans who are on welfare can work at the jobs they do.
Well, unless we are the rich Americans who hire unskilled people. They want there to be plenty of hungry peasents around looking for work, This drives down the cost of labor.
I can guarrantee you that nothing worthwhile will be accomplished.
Those other debates that the other people have mentioned are all have at least 1 point.
If you want a serious answer, try asking that in another category.

i think there are two:
evolutionism vs. creationism
that stupid debate over sanjaya malakar from american idol and how even some people went on starvation diets. it's only a tv show and if you're gonna try and lose weight because you think you're a fat worthless piece of crap...don't blame it on the kid who didn't choose to atleast be in the top 7. it's as if people have nothing better to do...

in case your faith makes you a great non violent loving being concerned individual then it fairly is vast......yet.....in case your faith makes you hate, disrespect, harm, harm, and so on others then you definitely and your faith is BS !
