i find it strange that most American kids think it ok to buy foriegn car claiming the price and the quality is much better, what would the teachers do if china decided to bring a million teachers to this country and work cheaper and do a much better job then them?
would that be a loyal idea? this is to all the idiots that buy foriegn cars and are killing our American way of life, by the way when did a foriegn car ever win the 500 or for that matter any any real American car race (never happened)
rice rice burners are the worst and are for yuppies german cars, still come from Germany short memories indeed.

I'm sorry if some fellow Americans feelings are going to be hurt, but I don't care. Just being a American company alone is not going to get people's business. you have to have make something that is reliable and worthy if you want their patronage. I could care less about 500 and foriegn cars in it's ranks. not everyone driving those "rice burners" need them for that purpose. I also find it funny that people can get on here talking about loyalty when corporate America has no loyalty to us. If that was the case they would save some jobs for us fellow Americans, instead of outsourcing to other countries to save them a pretty penny and trips to france. I also don't feel spiteful towards those countries...good old competive spirit, American tradition. It's the way of the world, if you don't take care of yourself no one else will.

It's not young American’s fault. Unions F'ed America with their help America cars cost & not as well made as a rice rice burner. So brun some rice kids & say hello to ur Chinese teacher. Cuz if the unions keep going as is the American way of life will be gone.

Didn't read your last question, but did you research the fact that Honda and Toyota both produce cars in America? They employee Americans and pay into the system?
While Ford and GM both manufacture in Canada and Mexico.

So, you think it is more 'patriotic' for me to spend my money on an inferior car with lower gas mileage that was built in Mexico?
Doesn't make sense.

As for your racing comment, every car at the Indy 500 was a Honda. And Honda just started in Nascar. Pretty soon, they'll ALL drive them.

I would buy a Prius or Mercedes ANYTIME over any american car designed by americans. They lack behind in innovation, efficiency and quality for the price. The design engineers have to be japanese or german or.... They have a different mindset/approach.

I do not care.I am not in the least bit interested.I am totally apathetic to your particular problem.I just hope that it happens to all other industries.Your government used pressure, tariffs, quotas and tax relief for years to influence other countries and foreign business and now it is turning full circle.I for one am very happy at your present industrial problems and long may they continue.

I can't help it if GM/Ford/Chrysler screwed up. Don't worry, the foreign companies are building plants in the U.S. to replace the old American ones and are producing better automobiles.
