It was expected. The Spurs are a veteran team and they have ruled the NBA for 10 years, ever since LeBron was a 5'7" middle schooler. They didn't just magically appear in the NBA Finals. They earned their way there the way they have done 4 times in the last 9 years. Making the NBA Finals has almost become routine for them. They are a classic example of an old-school championship team.
LeBron is only 22. It's his first time, and Cleveland has not seen a championship team for 40 years. As good as he is, in terms of the NBA Finals, he's still a babe in the woods. His young team was no match for the Spurs veteran team.
But LeBron is only 22, and he has accomplished more than anyone could expect from him. The Spurs were simply too good for a young superstar making his finals debut. So let's all stop criticizing LeBron and forgive his imperfect performance. Give him some time to grow, and he will be back. I'd like to see him retire with 5 rings on his hand

I think that if the Cavs were in the Western Conference, they would have been battling the Lakers, Warriors, Clippers and Hornets just to make the playoffs. The Eastern Conference, just like the NL in baseball and the NFC in football, is much weaker in overall talent. The Western Conference has won 7 of the last 9 NBA Championships, the AL has won 10 of the last 15 World Series and the AFC has won 8 of the last 10 Super Bowls.

I was shocked--until the first game. With all the hype surrounding Lebron James and the fact that the Cavs swept the Pistons, I thought this was gonna be a fight to the death. After the second game, I still thought the Cavs would be strong in Cleveland. After the third game, I bought a new broom.

Worst team to ever make the finals. Worst finals in my memory. Big let down for the "NEW" M.J..... San An. would have had a harder time with Motown, don't know what happened there. Personally, I long for the days of "Magic" Bird, Mac Hale, Thomas and yes, even Mr. Nut - shot, Laimbeer.

I am glad for Labron to make it that far in the season,to get that close to the championship and lose like that he is gonna be better prepared now that he knows what it feels like playing in the playoffs as one of the last two teams....The sweep is not a shock the Spurs are a seasoned team as far as making it that far in the season

i dont know that much about the nba and the teams but it seems like the cavs suck and they would never have gotten anywhere without lebron.
maybe i'm stating the obvious?

crappy! what a horrible championship.. what's with the CAVALIERS not showing an ounce of heart... they knew they were underdogs.. they knew that they had a tough fight.. and it was as if they didn't even prepare.. they didn't even bother..
so angry and dissapointed..
