Revolution.
It's a good historical movie and Pacino gives a superb performance. Total package is excellent.
Co-stars include Natasha Kinnski and Donald Sutherland.

Dog Day Afternoon
Took bank robbery movies in a direction never seen before, with real characters and dilemma.
He portrays his character in a way that makes the movie believable

Heat - he plays the perfect twisted cop - one who is just a hair different from the man he pursues
Dog Day Afternoon 2nd place - shows that he has no ego and will take any interesting role offered.
