I work for a local health club, and I see a lot of seniors attending the aerobics, yoga and tennis classes. There are a lot of 50 - 70 agers signing up for bus tours (which I host) and volunteering for Red Cross. The art galleries here in our area have Art Alive tours every month for everyone, but most participants are over 50. I see a lot of seniors meeting up at the local Indian Casinos.
If you like dogs, breed clubs are a great place to meet people. You might consider starting your own book club, or find one.

Interesting, but the problem is getting qualified senor men to show up. When one gets to be our age almost all the good ones are already taken. The best, recent widowers, don't last more than a month before somebody claims him. What is a gal to do? For social activities with other senior women the Red Hat society has a lot to offer. I've seen several where, once the get to a certain size, split into new chapters based on the interests of the various members.

Why not put your creative energizes into planing a dance or a party? Have a Rock and Roll theme. Party City has all kinds of party decorations. Make hot dogs, hamburgers etc. that can be grilled Make " adult " milkshakes etc. I could go on, but it's enough of an idea to get you started. Check with your local American Legion about renting the hall, sell tickets and raise money for items to send to our troops.

Sounds like your as bored as I am. I'm not sure what gender you are. I'm a 62 year old male who enjoys riding my motorcycle and fishing. I live on the space coast's southern area. I also shoot pool and I'm currently trying to stay the heck out of the dogtrack! I wish I was a better bettor.
