Last time I watched a colt's game I was astounded with Peyton Manning's lightning speed that I could have sworn he was a running back.... He broke a record setting record of 12 broken takles and ran in for a touchdown..... I just think this guy can't really throw but can run like L.T.... He should be a starting running back no doubt know who agrees

Were you smoking crack? Manning runs like a fat man. he is slower that slow. and when did he break 12 tackles? i haven't heard it before. lay off the drugs, they r killing ur brain. and no, L.T. won't have any competition @ the rushing title w/ peyton. I think you and DCJ up there are sharing a stash, because he's just as obsessed as you are. Peyton won a completely b.s. season, so yay 4 him, he can guide a team through bullcrap playoffs. and the ONLY reason, ONLY reason he shares a t.d. record w/ harrison, is cuz harrison is an outstanding WR. w/out his hands, peyton would just b another Eli. and did u watch the pro bowl or were u too busy getting high w/ DCJ? just about every pass peyton threw, went straight into the ground. and the only reason the Colts beat the Broncos this year is because Darrent Williams (R.I.P) wasn't the best CB of all time. You want another fact? Peyton averages 1.5 yrds/3 secs. you get rid of harrison and wayne, and u put average recievers on the roster, and all u colts fans in dream world can watch peyton's stats fall faster than the Raiders Superbowl hopes.

Honestly, nobody in their right mind would agree with you. You don't think he can throw? Do you even know who Peyton Manning is? There's no way he would survive as a running back, and there's no way anyone would let him play running back to begin with because of his amazing arm. He was born to be a quarterback, and he's definitely not an LT. They're two different players (both very dynamic at their own positions) with two different builds, skills, and talents. Who would he start for as the running back anyway? Anybody who has ever even seen a SportsCenter highlight let along watches the NFL would keep Peyton at his position, where he is definitely one of the best in the league, as QB!!!

Just to answer at Miss the 80's:

Sooner or later Peyton Manning will go down as the greatest QB in NFL History.

Not a Colts fan.

What's wrong with you? Can't really throw?! Who holds the record for most touchdowns with a single wide receiver? Who has been invited to Pro Bowl after Pro Bowl? Who is already a lock for the Hall of Fame? Who won the Super Bowl? Who has a chance to go down in history as one of the greatest, if not the greatest, quarterback to ever play in the National Football League? The answer: Peyton Manning. Get your facts straight and actually watch the game before you ask a question like that to the general public. And for the record, I'm sure he's not quite as fast as Ladainian Tomlinson.

Pretty stupid question. Manning is a quarterback, nothing else.

And for people claiming him " the best QB of all time" get a reality check people ANY quarterback could produce behind that All Pro offensive line, have ALL pro receivers and possibly a Hall of Fame WR in Harrison; very effective back in Addai and use to have an All Pro in James; and pro bowl tight ends in Marcus Pollard (when he was there in Indy) and Dallas Clark. Besides he hasnt even finished his career yet, and your placing him ahead of Montana, Marino, Favre and Elway?? Pretty biased. Lets see him take an average team to a super bowl like Favre and Marino did.

Nope thats Mick Vick, "while who let the dogs out is on" ,I don't think Peyton could break 12 tackles or kill 66 dogs, but he can throw and I'm a Bears fan.

oh wait, that can't be mick vick, the only thing he's good at is KILLING DOGS!

sorry, but don't agree, Peyton is a Qb, not an L.T.

Can't really throw? What the hell have you been watching? I'll admit I'm no fan of P. Manning, but he is a pretty good QB. He's got a great arm. He wouldn't do well at RB, just isn't well enough to do that type of thing all the time. Besides he's got a "Laser Rocket Arm"

Neat-o, Frito Your reading my mind. That man can audible more in a single play than most the entire game. And his speed is sometime's called in question, but man its like he was jets on his ankles to bad he ran out of gas back at Tennessee.

I agree but i also heard dungy saying that he wanted to try him out on the defensive side of the ball as a Mike backer. Im serious peyton is a stud I once saw a practice tape where he closed lined addai when they were practicing goal-line drills and he was playing d-end... it was beautiful

Sorry that is the dumbest thing i heard... why would you take one of the greatest QB's of all time and put him in RB position... 1 game = injured in RB position... Can't really throw? You do know he also holds record for most TD's on a season? And also won a SB as QB, if it aint broke why fix it! Are we talking about the same Manning? The only QB i think could be a RB is Vince young but even than to put him in RB is ubsurd... Manning is great in the pocket, now for him to be a RB going against linebackers hahahaha.... Picture strahan or Urlacher coming at him full speed... Curtains for Manning.;
