I beg to differ. Kobe Bryant never lead his team to the finals being the main option. He is a great scorer but his all around game can not compare to LeBron. Let's compare their career averages and see.

FG - Kobe 45.3 % < LeBron 46.3 %
FT - 83.8 % > LeBron 73.3 %
3 PT - 33.7 % > LeBron 32.7 %
3 Average / Game - 1.2 < LeBron 1.3
Points - Kobe 24.6 < LeBron 26.7
Assists - 4.5 < LeBron 6.4
Rebounds - 5.2 < LeBron 6.7
Turnovers - 2.9 > LeBron 3.3
Steals - 1.5 < LeBron 1.8
Blocks - 0.6 < LeBron 0.7

LeBron takes 7 of 10 cats (FG %, 3PT Average, Points, Assists, Rebounds, Steals, and Blocks).

Kobe takes 3 of 10 cats (FT %, 3PT %, and Turnover).

Remember, that this is career averages we're talking about, to avoid any fluctuation over a player having a career year. LeBron has only been in the league 4 years in comparison to Kobe's 11 years. If you wanna claim who is the best all-around player then you have to look as statistics and just like what Vin Diesel said the movie "The Fast & Furious"

"It don't matter if you win by an inch or a mile, winning's winning."

for the modern nba it has to be kobe. he is at a high level above every one else. no body can stop the guy. they can hold him down a little bit. only for some time. but he can turn it on on every team anytime. he is no doubt the best right now. but all time has to be jordan

i agree that bryant is a good player but i still think that LeBron is a better player. He might be cocky but he carries his team.
