They will immediately impound your car for a mandatory 30 days if you are pulled over. That means well over $1,500.00 in fees before you can get your car (or whoevers it is) back, not including the fee for the ticket. Also, you will not be able to get your license until you are 18 (instead of 16). Trust me, you are SCREWED if you get pulled over.

Do your parents know? If you kill someone, they could be charged with manslaughter because it's their car. If you get pulled over, they will probably have to pay a stiff fine.

My oldest daughter learned to drive at night after I had gone to bed. I would start out to work in the morning and wonder why my car was half empty when I had just filled up the day before. I went so far as to get a lock for my gas cap. It still didn't stop. One night I caught her heading out. When I thought of what could have happened. . . Don't do this to your parents.

Are you nuts kid?
Only if it's a farm vehicle or special dispensation from your state!!
Don't do it! It's not worth it!!!

So ok, go to your state licensing board and ask them the question. Maybe there is a special license for you, and if not, you'll at least get the straight facts. (You probably won't like them, but at least you'll know where you stand).

So did I. They'll put you on probation in some states and some will make you wait till your 18 to get your license.

Better to get a hardship permit so you can drive (if needed) and way the government won't hurt you.

stop driving so you won't have to find out. Chances are in your state you can only hold a permit anyway, due to your age (that is in most states) so knock it off before you get caught and get a suspended license before you are even issued a real one.

First, what streets do you drive on? What state? I need to go out this afternoon and want to AVOID YOU.

You could be fined and lose your right to have a license for years. I'd be grateful. I'd be even more grateful if you simply stopped doing it.

I suppose you don't have insurance either. They can suspend your license before you get one, could mean you might have to wait an extra year to get it. But,that probably wouldn't matter to you,you would just drive anyway.
