Depending on what state you are from, there may be a website that will tell you if or when a person has went to court. For example, I live in Maryland and I know a website that will tell you the name of anyone that has went to court in Maryland and what for. It goes back to around 1988.

There ain't no such animal.
I have a brother who, after he retired from law enforcement, took a job with the Government. He had to get a "top secret" clearance for his job. His job is to do complete and comprehensive background checks on people who want to work in highly sensitive areas of our government - positions that require some sort of security clearance.
I asked him once about a very popular website that will do background checks for a fee..wanted to know what the dealie was.
He said to save the money. They have no access to any kind of information that cannot be found free on the internet, city and county records with a little footwork and time.
The only websites that can do "complete background and criminal checks" online are closed to the general public. You have to be licensed and in some branch of law enforcement or government to access the websites and the information there.

Let's see, you want someone to render a service to you that involves time and expertise in a speciality for free?
Hmmm....why do you think they charge you for that?
Try checking your own public records online. Or get a friend who's a cop.

unless the person you are looking up is a sex offender (meaning that is the only charge you'll find) or your really cool with a cop you probably won't get what your looking for. I have paid to have my serious boyfriends looked up in our local county... only $4.95.... when you have kids involved you can never be too damn sure these days... it is worth the money for the right reasons.
