I did that once, found a ring with a stone and turned it in. I can't imagine they ever really attempted to find the true owner. Someone else ended up with it, I'm sure. At least I know I did the right thing. I can't control what others do.

well depends what age she is
if shes young i doubt that she would put it int he lost and found if its a lil older u never know
but i doubt the old ones would take it cuz most old people are nice
but ull never know diamonds are a girls bestfrined so yah

Hopefully, in a safe place to see if someone claims it.
If you thought she wasn't trustworthy, you should have kept it, and asked the manager to contact you if someone came looking.

easy enough, just check with management and make sure she turned it in. If no one claims it, I would assume that it should go to you.
