A Different World?

When I was growing up, people would tell me the world would be a different place when I'm an adult. But I have have a another theory, and I believe the world is exactly the same as it was when I was younger, while the people in this world are different. Would you agree or disagree and why?

Human nature remains the same . The world is more dangerous now than when I was a little kid.

When you use the word world do you mean the planet or the sum total of everything human?
The planet is the same.
Humans are the same.
If your an American the social lies that where in place back in the pre-1950's are totally gone.
