Some people know from day one, as I did and I'm currently 36 weeks pregnant. However, some women it takes a few weeks. Each woman is different just as each pregnancy is different.
Some symptoms associated with pregnancy are: breast tenderness, nausea (with or without vomiting), cramps, lower back aches, a missed or abnormal period, going to the bathroom more often, mood swings, elevated body temperature, and the darkening of the areola (area around the nipple).

You don't have to have symptoms at all. You hear about women who didn't know they were pregnant until they had a baby. From my own experience, with my second child, I had no normal symptoms like my first and didn't have a period but my doctor said that it was just my new job causing stress. 3 months later that same doctor told me I was pregnant. They did an ultra sound to find out how far along I was and I was 4 months! With my first the first thing I remember was being tired all the time, and sleeping for like 13-14 hrs everyday. Then came the nausea, and all the rest you probably have heard about.

I started feeling sick about a week and a half to 2 weeks before my period. Right after I ate McDonalds too. I thought maybe it was all the grease. Then I smelt tuna and it made me nauseous. I thought it was just the heat. I had so many pregnancy scares I didnt want to get my hopes up. Then the first week of June my nipples started to hurt I thought i was just getting my period. I counted my days and realized i was 3 days late. I was never late w/ my period maybe a day if that. I took a pregnancy test came back negative. Waited a week took another one negative, took another one the next morning since everyone was saying wait til the morning to do it still negative by then i was tired all the time also. I cooked my favorite food crab meat could not stand the smell of it could not eat it. I thought that I just wasnt hungry. About 3 days after that this Sunday on Fathers Day I took a pregnancy test and there was the positive. Very faint but it was a positive. The next day (monday) I woke up took another one positive again faint still. I called to my OBGYN told them i took 2 positive tests and they told me to come in i didnt need an appt to take a test. I went in and it was positive faint again. (Sorry so long)

If you're unusually tuned into your body, you might begin to suspect that you're pregnant within the first few days of pregnancy. But, most women don't suspect they are pregnant until they miss a period, and a few don't suspect or believe they are pregnant for months after conception.
Here are 5 common signs of early pregnancy. You may experience all, some or none of these symptoms
-a missed period
-frequent trips to the bathroom
-fatigue
-morning sickness (doesn't just occur in the morning though)
-sore and enlarged breast

As soon as 2 weeks after your last period you may get:
1)Mood changes
2)Appetite change, prefer simple foods
As soon as first 12 weeks you may get:
1)Your breast will get larger, heavier, and more sensitive
2) Your nipples and any moles or freckles will get bigger
3)you may feel very tired
4)Probably get nausea, mainly in the morning, but any time of day is possible
Most woman only gain between 2-4 lbs in the first 12 weeks. And only about 1.7 oz of it is your baby.
At week 13-28 you may get:
1)your abdomen will become rounded, you will lose your waist line and look pregnant
2)you may notice a line of dark hair going down from your belly button(linea nigra)
3)you may get rib pains
During the weeks of 13-28 you may gain 12 lbs of this the baby is only about 2lbs
From 29 weeks until birth you may get:
1)eaisly tired, but find it hard to rest
2)you may get braxton hicks contractions(fake labor)
By now you may have gained 10 more pounds, and the baby is about 6-8 lbs

I knew 3 weeks after I had conceived. I felt permanent "car sickness", and just a general feeling of "something not quite right here". On top of that, I was having some really odd dreams (odder than normal, that is!).
My daughter wasn't planned and the whole thing was quite a shock... but I wouldn't change anything now for the world!

Hey,
My friend can tell you the day she got pregnant because the next day she was feel funny in the tummy...
She then got sore boobs a week after that.
But keep in mind some people don't get pregnancy symptoms.
All I had was a missed period.
Most people will feel the symptoms around when their period is due!
Good Luck

About two weeks. Usually sore or tender breast are the first symptoms along with a missed period. Fatigue, headaches, some cramping.
