I absolutely do think he has a chance.

He's growing rapidly in popularity.

He's a defender of the constitution.

He wants to immediately end the Iraq "war".

He wants to be a strong president that's strong enough to not take a power that a president shouldn't have.

I'm going to a meetup with over 100 people Saturday. He's growing rapidly.

I hear he's in the millions now in donations.

I encourage all his supporters to at least donate $10 bucks a month.

By the way all of you that think he "blamed" the U.S. citizens for 9-11 are suck butts for Sean Hannity. He did not say that, Rudy accused him of that. He talked about Blowback which was in the 9-11 commission report that Rudy should have read.

I don't see how anybody would want to back anybody else seeing that he is the only candidate that truly stands behind the constitution.

By the way, Henry, you always respond bad to Ron Paul. If you don't like presidents who support the constitution, I don't know what to tell ya.

Delusional again, I see. Open your mind and think of an ice cube. Now place that ice cube on a sand dune in the middle of the Sahara Desert on the hottest day of the year. Now you see the chance Ron Paul has of becoming president. He is a libertarian trying to pass as a Republican. If the GOP is smart, and I think they are smart enough here, they will see through him. National polls (not Internet blogs or obscure web sites) have him at less than 1percent. Most people don't even know who he is and his treasury for a campaign is miniscule compared to the front runners. If he hasn't got name recognition and tons of money by now he isn't going to make it. Pestering people on blogs seems to be the tactic used by his campaign. It will backfire because, while it is cheap, it also irritates people. Someone who might be willing to give the guy a second look won't bother because of being pestered.

Keep your dreams alive. Just don't get your hopes up too high because when they are dashed you'll fall too far and maybe even hurt yourself.

I hope too, but let's face it - God would have to come down and strike the other candidates dead for him to have a chance. The whole political/electoral parade is run by the Democratic and Republican parties, and with their pathetic organization and leadership, they will NEVER elect someone whose ideas will work to the forefront.

For the love of God...

Ron Paul did not "publically state that 9/11 was our fault". He did, however, say that our government failed to prevent the attack. Is that not true?

Here's more of what he said, in full detail. The man's got points. If you want to put blinders on and pretend that we've done nothing to contribute to what happened on 9/11, you're only inviting more attacks. Why? Because we can't fix problems we can't see. Military occupations in the majority of countries on earth - problem. Pushy and nosey foreign policy - problem. Manipulative foreign aid - problem. Is it seriously so wrong to want to change that stuff?

The more people hear what he has to say, the more people like him. To me, he is the best candidate out there. He sure has my vote. I can't wait until everyone else wakes up and smells the coffee. I can't understand why people will go against a candidate that is for peace & not war. What's that all about?????

I think he has an excellent chance if we can get the truth out! His strong stand for real christian values , the country and the constitution is just what we need in all of our elected things! We need to get all the CFR and CFR influenced globalists out! They are destroying this once great country! If we even have an election in 2008 it probably will be the last free one we will ever have!

No. He outed himself during the first Republican debate when he blamed America for September 11.

No. He will never get the endorsement of the Republican Party as a Presidential candidate and he has stated emphatically that he will not consider running under another ticket.

After he publicly stated that 9/11 was our fault, he lost any chance or credibility.
