Believe it or not, some guys go to basketball camps to work on fundamentals. Usually Power Forwards and Centers.
Pro sports has changed inasmuch as the guys try to stay in shape year round and largely succeed. Years ago, no one would start working out again until early September.
Some have other endeavors that they tend to such as business and charitable organizations that they participate in.
Still others waste time doing silly mess. Sometimes they combine all their activities; working out, overseeing business and doing silly mess.
Many spend the summer playing basketball in different "Summer Pro Leagues" like the one at Long Beach State University. Some it seems are required to, others do it for the competition.

some in simple terms relax and heal lol. some men play in summer season leagues, some play for their worldwide communities. yet i think of maximum attempt to spend time with their households if available since they might't plenty during the season.
