I am doing a presentation on a news article....basically my assignment is read it and summarize it....and i can use the title of the article as my title......so on the first slide im going to put the title and i also want to put the authors name and my name so how should i do that should i put the authors name as By: authors name.....Presentation by: my name

I might say "Written By" for the author of the article, just to clarify that you're referring to.

I might also put your name in another text box, a little lower than the author's name...that's mostly a personal preference, as opposed to a "rule", though.

Always acknowledge the true author first, with your name following it with: As used in a presentation by:
