Assembly language programming?

Hi im doing college assignment where i have to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers using assembly language programming.

Can anyone help me with examples or direct me to a website that deals with this

Im completely new and dont have a clue need to learn

There's no such thing as just "assembly programming". You have to specify the CPU family!
