I don't get how she is so popular...her voice is so oldfashioned. I can't stand her songs! Any people feel the same?

yehh i totally agree with you.
She's always in the papers, she's not a very good role model.
Plus, she said that she'll give it all up soon coz she doesn't enjoy doing it THAT much.
why should she be famous when all she does is drink?

I love Amy Winehouse.
She's suppose to have an old fashioned feel to her sound..kinda retro. She listens to a lot of oldies and girl groups from the 40's and 50's etc.
Maybe people like her because she is a talented singer. I know I do.
I am very happy with the music that is coming from the UK. Singers like Amy winehouse, Lily Allen, and Corrine Bailey Rae.... Nice to see people with talent.

I have to disagree with you. I think she's a fantastic singer. I love the old-fashioned sound to her voice (and the fact that it is, in fact, her voice and not some electronic, pumped-up version of her voice). I think singers/artists like her are bringing in a new wave of true talent to the music industry.

She's a hot mess but I dig her songs. But she really does need "rehab" and a shower. She never looks clean or sober!
