To apply eye shadow the correct way you may want to keep these things in mind.

-To make your eye shadow last longer, dust your eye lids with loose face powder first. Leaving a bit of excess powder under your eyes until you've finished your shadow application also makes it easier to brush off those foundation-destroying color flakes that always seem to land there.

-Eye shadow can make close set eyes seem further apart. Try using a lighter color on the inner half and a darker shade from the middle of your lid to the outer corner, and don't forget to blend.

-Matching your eye shadow to your eye color isn't the key to making your eyes "pop"---it will actually make them appear washed out.

-If you have
----Brown eyes -- Plums, Charcoal Grays, Deep Muted Greens
----Blue eyes -- Soft Grays, Purples and Violets
----Green Eyes -- Soft Plums, Grays and Browns

**Neutral colored eye shadows like taupes, beiges, etc will work with any eye color.

The BEST thing I ever learned as regards to makeup was get GOOD BRUSHES. Seriously. Also, good quality makeup. Personally I like bold looks and almost every drugstore brand is not very pigmented--even if you use a ton it'll never look like the bright/dark color it looks like in the compact. So if you're looking for a bold color, go for that HIP brand or ditch the drugstore and use MAC.

Check out the maybelline website. It shows techniques for applying 1,2,3 and 4 different eyeshadows and you can get ideas on colors too. Another good one is almay-so you can steal the color ideas to enhance your eyes!

initiate off with a sparkling face no oil airborne dirt and airborne dirt and dust or despite.. a million. moisturize 2. best (you dont could yet its extra suitable on your dermis) 3. foundation, skinny layer to even out dermis tone 4. conceal (merely one or 2 colorations lighter than your dermis) 5. powder (mac studio fix owder foundations good) 6. blush (blush comes after the powder on condition that its powder based) I persist with mascara on until now eyeshadow reason it gets on my eyelids...which gets lined up via my eyeshadow besides.. eyeliner is going on after eyeshadow n mascara and that i frequently persist with lipgloss final.

dont overload the applicator. blow on it and then go from crease to crease. But the closer to the nose first. make sure you reapply becuase it looks grose when sweat makes it on only some parts of ur eye.
