We really can't tell if the universe is a fractal like you're asking.
Is our solar system an atom of a cell (galaxy) which is part of a tissue making up some huge organism? This thought is pretty much brain candy. However, it's safe to say that atoms exhibit different behavior than does our solar system, and that planets don't behave anything like electrons do. Perhaps we're just gluons, and the entire universe is an atom.
I don't think so, but it's a fun thing to think about when you "pass the dutchie on the left hand side."

Highly unlikely. While quite possible that our universe is just one universe in a multiverse of other universes, it is unlikely we are an atom or atoms in a macro universe where we are just particles. Quantum mechanics shows that primary particles like quarks and electrons all have the same mass, charge and spin. Thus the electron on the tip of your finger has the exact mass as an electron in a stars corona ten billion light years from here. And the charge of an up quark forming the proton of an atom making up the upper right pixel of your computer’s screen is exactly the same as the one as an up quark in the Orion nebula.
In the observable universe stars, galaxies, planets all have different masses, magnetic fields, etc. For us to be primary particles in a macro universe it would have to be pretty unstable.

The string concept tries to respond to what takes place on the smallest scale attainable so we can't get a image of what this appears like each and every time quickly. So according to hazard once you get right down to that time it would appear like an entire new universe comparable to ours. What i think of is cool is this talk approximately our universe no longer being on my own. rather there is multiverses rather. whilst the vast Bang exceeded off no longer in undemanding terms did our universe type yet many others did too; all with their very own rules as much as now as gravity and different issues. This additionally ties in with the sring concept too.

No. Sounds like the 3 am post beer party question that pops up at college at least once a month.

When it comes to the question of the true nature of the universe, I think just about anything is fair game.

interesting question. of course if you take a look at our world we find that things we didn't dream of 30 years we now have. whoever thought that we would go to the moon someday. yet , i watched a man walk on the moon in 1968. whoever dreamed that one day we would have computers in our homes. as i ponder life and ponder your question my answer is......anything is possible.
