Anything that offers some type of physical and/or mental and/or emotional pleasure can be addictive. The important thing is to be and stay safe.

The act has always been about the same, but sex is a lot more addictive these days, speaking quantitatively. That's because the internal factors counterbalancing it, which we call "inhibitions", have been erased by pro-sex social education.

Well, drug addicts usually say they get addicted to drugs because they like the feeling their drug gives them. They also say that they are trying to recapture the feeling that their "highest high" gave them.
Sex is much the same way. People enjoy the feeling it gives them. Also, they are trying to recapture the ultimate climatic feeling they have reached before, in reality or fantasy.

sex releases endorphines into the brain, so does taking heroin. sex is easier to get than heroin and you don't have to drill holes in your veins.
