I have a construction company / lumber store that is going to be putting a float in a parade. the theme of the parade is "celebrating our city's golden anniversary" the construction company has been around for about 42 years. Does anyone have any ideas for decorating our float that would tie into this theme? I am desperate.

It is the season for parades! I would try to make the float for the children. Have kids in costumes somehow representing your community pride. Historical figures might work.
You might also think of public service ideas to honor the policemen and firemen and nurses. A float full of scouts is a traditional winner but anything musical has potential.

Gay Pride Parades usually happens on last Sunday in June. They have the best floats. Go there and you will get some ideas.
