Does anyone know of someone who's period spontaneously came on(never has before), and it was a result of pregnancy.

Well you can't really have a period when you're pregnant. Yes, many women have bleeding at different times, but they mistake it for a period, which technically it isn't.

You can only have a period if you ovulate and you do not ovulate when pregnant.

For some women, sudden bleeding might definitely alert them to a possible pregnancy (or some other condition), esp. if they are not expecting a period at all.
