No. Especially if you didn't enter.
Don't reply to the email, as that confirms your email address is valid.

You should absolutely click the "spam" button and delete. What the others here said was right. It is an attempt to defraud you, they will ask you for money, and as they say in the New York Lottery, "You have to be in it to win it."

Nobody just wins a lottery just because they have an e-mail address. Unfortunately, plenty of honest, trusting people are obviously falling for this or the criminals (that's what they are) wouldn't continue to do this.

No. This is a scam. There have been reports on tv about it. Google the internet for stories on it. Oh yeah, there is also another lottery scam, they actually send you a check in the mail for several thousands of dollars and say that is the first payment. Once you deposit the check they have all of your banking info, they get back the money you deposited and rip off your account.

If you didn't enter - buy a ticket, you have NOT won. You have to enter to win - what you thought someone wanted to give you free money ?

If you have a ticket, check thge details on the back, check the winning numbers and still BE CAREFUL.

But in all liklihood this is just a scam.

No, it's a scam. I just saw a news report on tv about that. They say you should copy the email and contact the better business bureau, they love dealing with those jerks.

Sounds like a scam to me. Was this mailed to inbox or in bulk. Sometimes I get the most ridiculous stuff in bulk and a couple times into inbox.

I would check out the e-mail address it was sent from. Professional e-mail address? Check out more info from e-mail.

The answer is NO. If you have any doubts, the answer is NO. If you think that it may be a promotion of some kind, the answer is NO.
The trick is that you have to pay the fees for prize processing and the courier service to send the check to your doorstep.

No, almost assuredly not. If they want to send you money without you spending any or giving them any information, then they will; otherwise it is a scam.
