carryout is when the customer has to pick up the the food after they order it. Delivery is when the restaurant brings it to you at home or wherever you are.

Carry Out is when you, the customer, pick up the food. In England, it's called Take Away.

Delivery comes to your door - but then you have to give a tip. With Carry Out you just say thank you.
