Few people actually like cleaning. But there are ways to make it less scary.

When you have dirty clothes, take them straight to the laundry hamper rather than drop them on the floor.

Declutter your space. Get rid of all broken things and things you aren't using.

After you eat, wash your dishes right away: That way the food won't hard-dry and become difficult to remove.

Make your bed or strip it immediately when you wake up, depending on whether you want to wash the sheets that day.

This is something I do: Keep a spray bottle of diluted Lysol in your bathroom, and another in your kitchen for quick clean-ups. I take a cleaning cloth with me in the mornings, and after I'm done with the bathroom, I spray it down with the Lysol, then wipe it down. The bathroom never gets really dirty any more.

Choose a day to dust, vacuum, and mop. Or choose a time to dust, and another to vacuum and mop. I prefer to vacuum and mop on the same day since there will be less chance of fresh dirt getting on the floors before they're clean.

Good luck!

Well you hate to clean, but you hate to see thing´s hanging around. This is the best way I know to keep your room clean. Set your alarm clock to go off in 15, min´s time. See how much you can do in this short amount of time. Trust me you will be surprised. All dirty clothes in a pile next to the bedroom door & any other thing´s that don´t belong. You will take them to their righful places when you have finished what you are doing. All clean clothes to the closet, jean´s top´s jumper´s belt´s & don´t forget the shoes under the bed. Once the alarm clock sound´s , sit down and reward yourself. Even if you don´t finish every thing in the one day never mind. Just remember to reward yourself, read a magazine, watch TV or askor answer a few Q here. If you do the 15, min´s here and there, you will have a nice tidy room& still have time for fun. You don´t want to be in doors cleaning your room when the weather is sunny outside, DO YOU?. Try 15, mins

First I think you should try to put away some of the clutter, any dirty clothes in a hamper or the laundry room, and deal with any garbage. A few minutes a day if you keep this habit up will be enough to keep your room clean. When things are put away it will be easier to actually clean it.

I suggest putting things away as soon as you are through with them and don't let them pile up. Don't throw them in the floor, go put them where they go and hang up what is still clean enough to wear again. Then there is a lot less to clean, just dust and vaccum, change sheets.
