I, for one, love the idea of naming children after members of the family. Especially when they mean a lot to you! My daughter's name is Theona after my husband's late mother. When I first heard the name, it wasn't my favorite, but I couldn't imagine my daughter being called by any other name.
It doesn't matter what other people think, if you love it, you should definitely go for it!

Nope. I think it's a neat idea-if you have given up on having a gabe, jr.
You might call her Ella or Brie or Gabbs- anything

I think it's sweet. My son's middle name is Cole, after my middle name of Nicole.. and if our next child is a girl, we are going to have her named Corinne (her father is Corey).
