The biggest one I can think of is My Chemical Romance. Awesome stuff, not just the Black Parade. I hate it when people get criticized for being themselves. MCR is NOT even close to emo and they hate it when they are labeled as that. Emo was derived from hardcore punk, MCR sites some of their biggest influences and favorite bands as being Iron Maiden, Queen, Pink Floyd, Megadeth, Slayer, and others. How would you get emo out of that??

It's a tie between The Backstreet Boys & N'Sync, for most annoying. Seemed like radio stations were never gonna stop playing that generic, homogenized crap.
I've listened to alternative classics & nu rock stations ever since.
'weezer' should get more respect than they do since the 'Make Believe' album. The band didn't "sell out" to pop music, they're evolving. If they made another album like the "blue one" or 'Pinkerton', people would gripe and say they've run out of ideas.

Its difficult to declare. I definately think of its a tie between Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and The Beatles. Led Zeppelin because of the fact they're incredibly diverse and that they integrated many diferent units of their song. Black Sabbath because of the fact whilst they got here out, all of us replaced into used to the completed peace and love ingredient. So no person needed to hearken to a band who spoke of devil and violence and stuff. It replaced right into somewhat too heavy for the elementary listener. i cant think know i may respond later but i am com pleatly annoyed of is dautry even though i live close to their hometown of greensborro and i think that i cant call him part of a group but Michael Jackson should get some respect artists all over are taking his creative ideas i find it annoying unless they have their own little twist.and laura screw you!your missing on alot of good ******* music.
