I know i can drive myself there.....but can i drive myself back home after the procedure? I llive only 20 min away from the hospital.

You will DEF need someone to drive you home, you are not allowed to drive for at least 48 hours after you've had general anesthesia. If you were to go the hospital by yourself they would either a.) not perform the surgery unless you call someone to get you or b.)not release you until someone came to get you. Plus, you won't feel like driving, you may feel nauseas after surgery and most likely want to sleep a good part of the day after you get home.

Getting breast implants is a serious medical procedure. Patients will be put under anesthesia, as to not feel the procedure. Upon the procedure ending, roughly 2 hours later, the anesthesia should wear off. However, patients will still feel groggy and be rather uncomfortable. It would be wise to arrange to be brought home, even with a 20 minute drive.

The doctor will probably not perform the procedure unless you have confirmation that someone will drive you home. there's a pretty good chance you'll be groggy so it's too risky for you to drive.

If you are getting put under, you need a ride. I was just put under 2 weeks ago for oral surgery and after you come out of it its worse than being drunk. You won't really be able to walk straight, let alone drive.

After you get them, you won't have to drive yourself anywhere!
