It's better to tell what you know. The cops protect you if you are an informer. Look at it this way, - you are doing your country a favor by getting the thugs jailed.

It is never, EVER better to allow ANYONE make you live in fear. I hope I've stated that emphatically enough for you.
If you choose to do a valuable public service and tell what you know, particularly if you know this because you're a former member of the gang, you might want to consider asking for a witness protection program. Consider if you're willing to make that sacrifice.

Read the book, "Durango Street" by Frank Bonham =) it talks about a kid who joins a gang because he tattletaled to the cops about this rival gang. He later finds out a good way to express his feelings and live his life... lol I didn't read the ending x| but the books good just try it

It is always better to come forward and tell what you know. It can be scary to come forward. But I think either way you'd be living in fear. So I'd rather tell what I know.

the cops can't always protect you and your family,if i know something i keep my mouth shut and not once did i live in fear.its not what you know its who you know.
