No, that's a very crummy brand that cuts corners to make an inferior product, so people who don't know better get stuck with a lemon after the warranty period.

I have never heard of Systemax, but you can check out consumerreport.com and find out the rating. I have just found out the hard way that you need to make sure that support has easy access. My Toshiba is only two months old and the hard drive went out. I had to send it form Tulsa, OK to Louisville, KY. They couldn't give me any info on when it would be fixed let alone when I would get it back. I am more less saying make sure the support is there its not if it will break down its how well will you be taken care of when it breaks down.

Noooooo!!! It is Not a good brand at all they are crappy and ther weigh a lot...if u want windows get a gateway or a HP....If u want a nice home office get a Toshiba.....And Also a good tip is the heavier it weight the better the computer is...If u want a Mac get a MacBook Pro

And also do not get a dell they will not last long...I got a dell 3 months ago and it got a virus outbreak...and it has crappy support for programs

Systemax is the house name used by "Tiger Direct". They are a very big, online computer supply company.

from what i've seen they're not all that bad and when it comes to laptops all the above mentioned brands aren't anything special. you're going to run into problems after the warranty expires anyway. why pay 2 grand?
