When I click on the internet icon on my desktop, the internet options menu pops up.?

It won't bring up internet explorer like I want it to. I have to use the internet button on my keyboard to open internet explorer. How can I make the internet icon open internet explorer instead of just the internet options menu?

The easiest way is to create a new shortcut.
Go to My Comuter>Local Disk C: (or your main hard drive)>Program Files - NOTE: if you get a warning that these files are hidden just click on the link, show files. >Internet Explorer> find the Internet Explorer.exe icon and right click on it and choose create shortcut. Then drag that short cut to the desk top.
